December 30, 2011

End, of 2011, my way

Salam.

It is 30th of December, year 2011. Soon, we will leave behind another year, and say hello to a new year.

If anyone reading this is one of my FB friends, I guess you should already know, I just got back from Kedah, at first just to pay visit to my ill uncle, end up going to his funeral instead. Yes, I lost another family member. A close one, this time.

My father almost fainted knowing his little brother had gone into coma on Wednesday morning. I never seen him so shaken up. I know, he loved his brothers so much, especially this one. They are so close, constantly in touch, especially with my sister studying near my uncle's house.

Oh my, hanya Allah tahu apa rasanya melihat anaknya paling kecil menangis memanggil abahnya. Siapa yang tak meleleh air mata melihat anak-anaknya yang dulunya ceria, merah biji mata, menangis merayu supaya abah mereka bangun? Tangan ayah aku menjadi tempat bergantung sesiapa sahaja yang tak tahan melihat sekujur tubuh yang kaku.

He was a very likeable person. I do like being around him. He was so nice to everyone, I miss his laughter. I miss his voice, and I miss everything about him.

Hanya mampu bergantung pada life support semata-mata.

Ya Allah, sesungguhnya kali ini, kematian beliau sangat menusuk. Ayah aku sebagai abang, lagi lah. Hanya mampu berserah. Melihat ayahku menenangkan anak-anak pakcik aku yang memberontak nak abah mereka, luluh hati, especially yang kecil tu la. Pertama kali aku melihat ayahku berlinangan air mata, siapa yang tahan melihat adik kesayangan keras, kaku?

Lagi, anak pakcik aku yang sulung cuma baya-baya kita je, 20s. 24 if I'm not mistaken. Sudah bekerja, alhamdulillah. Tapi masih setahun jagung. Bak kata ayah aku.

Kan?

Aku tak dapat bayangkan kehilangan ayah aku. He's my everything. Ayah selalu mahu mati cepat, sebab dia kata taknak anak-anak susah payah menjaga dia. Sedih. Because he had seen enough of the neglect. My grandmother and grandfather from my mother's side was neglected, and he is the one who took them in, and take care of them, until their last breath.

I ended my year, with a goodbye to my uncle.

May Allah bless you,
and for you to be placed among the good
Rest in peace.
Al-Fatihah.

First week, and Singapore

Salam.

Hello peeps. It's been a hectic week. Spent the first week in classes and new college, and new roommates. Well, not new roommates. They're my friends, my classmates.

And spent the weekend in Singapore. Spent the weekend at Sentosa Island and USS, again. Yes, it is my second time here in Singapore to visit USS, but my first travelling my plane to and forth.

I bought bunch of things. And my deo spray just got tossed into the garbage. It is frustrating. Oh well, this is a new experience.

And now, I am alone taking the return flight to Subang, a 8.40 p.m flight, just to make sure I'll be able to take the 8.30 a.m bus to Seri Iskandar the next morning.

I am so tired. I just want to sleep, and rest.

But, I got two assignments on my lap, thta I have to settle paling lewat hari rabu.

I'm dead. I'm missing my mom already.
Oh well, wish me a safe flight home.

See ya, (:

Anxious and Excited

Salam.

It's Sunday. A week from now, I'll be at Perak, menjadi seorang budak perantau again. Rindu nak jumpa semua orang, at the same time, mampu ke duduk sana another 4 months setelah 5 bulan melepek dekat rumah? Lepas 5 bulan memanjakan diri dengan katil, dengan internet, dengan makanan sedap-sedap, mampu ke balik sana dan tak berpeluang tidur seenak sekarang?

I guess we will just have to wait and see. Sungguh, tak sangka dah nak balik sana. Teringat lagi the last day tinggalkan Perak, dengan mindset, ada kemungkinan takkan balik ke sini for a year, if tak lepas praktikal. Alhamdulillah, lepas jugak, and now, kembali packing untuk pulang ke sana.

Agak memeningkan kepala untuk packing kali ni. Since tak dapat bilik lagi, tak tau nak bawak barang apa. Susun barang, lepas tu macam terpikir, what if benda ni diperlukan? Susun balik lagi. Sort out sort sort, tetiba macam terpikir, ish benda ni macam nak kena guna je nanti.

Pening! It is for one week trial. Sementara nak dapat bilik kan? Baju mungkin no hal, satu beg tarik tu je lah I'm planning to take there, cuma masalah sekarang, BOOKS! Macam tak boleh tinggal satu pun kat rumah. Macam nak kena bawak semua. Tapi, nak letak mana? Bilik dah la takda kan.. heeee kalau sikit tu takpe, ni kalau dapat pinjam contract doc dari office, lagi lah )': nak nanges!

Cuma, sekarang tengah pilih baju kurung untuk seminggu. Then dah kena pack smua siap-siap untuk second delivery lepas dapat bilik nanti. Hadoi hadoi. My room is a mess! Baju kurung mostly berlipat berlonggok atas rak tu sebab banyak sangat. Nak kena letak tepi yang dah tak muat. Yes, my ass is getting wider, so most of my old baju kurung since Muar time, dah tak boleh masuk. Baju je elok masuk. Habes takkan nak pakai dengan seluar kot kan? Kalau matching takpe, ni baju zaman asrama dulu, bunga-bunga lah, meriah lah. Mana masuk dengan seluar. Derr macam nak repeat balik memori orientasi Part 1 lah pulak. Pakai tracksuit dengan baju kurung, plus sport shoes. Yes, disaster!

Of my private life, I had deactivated my FB account. Harap-harap tiada apa yang penting. Harap-harap. Haih. Since tak ramai yang akan jumpa blog ni since I've changed the link, so ada possiblity takda sapa tahu. Nobody cares about me lah. So what? I'm not a social person. Takda hati nak bergaul dengan mereka. Sebab takkan paham pun apa diorang merepek. Merepek je lah lebih. Sabar je lah.

My maxis dah expired. But ada $9 excess of credit. And actually ada $4 of free airtime. Fuck kan? Nak call sapa weyyy.. Adam dah merajuk tahap paling tinggi, which pada aku sangat menyampah nak pujuk. Over sangat. Papelah. Atai dah ada awek, Lelaki Harapan.. kalau call, dia nak angkat ke? )': Rindu lah dekat dia, tapi.. if this is the best for both of us, then let it be. Kalau ada, ada lah.

I let go of my feelings to someone the past weekend. Siapa? Rasanya semua orang boleh agak. (: I thought I had let go of the feelings months ago. But, I guess I am just a joke to him. I do respect him as a person, and he had given me so much to ponder about. But, at last, the reality sunk in. I had to let go, no matter what. He is just not worth my time.

Although, from now on, I don't actually know if I can trust any guy to let them into my life again, but I don't actually want to give up. I love the feeling of being in love. Cuma belum ketemu pemilik tulang rusuk kiri ini. InsyaAllah, satu hari nanti. Ameen.

Happy Eid Adha 2011!

Salam.

It's Eid Adha again people! As usual, this house would be serving ketupat and rendang daging, courtesy of my dad. (:

However, this time around, I don't feel like its Eid. Sunyi... Macam tak excited nak raya. Plus I'm not feeling too well, sore throat and impending fever.

I am supposed to bake a cake for the Eid, as usual, but saya sangat sangat tak larat, untuk buat apa-apa pun, tidur pun tak best, semua pun sakit, baring tak best, duduk tak best, ):

Tired.
Happy Eid Adha peeps! <3

Quickie to Kuching

Salam.

I just returned home from a quick trip to Kuching, Sarawak. One of my dream cities to visit. Macam pathetic kan? Kuching pun nak kecoh, lain lah pergi USA ke Europe ke.. Well, lain orang lain impian dia kan? (:

Sabah has been crossed out from my list, JB too. Yesterday, I crossed out Kuching too. Awesomee. My lists has a long way to go from now, tho. I still got Tokyo, Sydney, Adelaide, New Zealand, New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Venice, homai it will never end! I do wish, one day, I'll go on a Europe trip or something. Hopefully, insyaAllah.

Let's start. We flew out to Kuching on the 2/11/2011, Wednesday. I haven't been on a plane since Sabah trip, and of course cuak tu memang ada. Lagi-lagi, we're boarding on an Airbus. Kau tau tak betapa besarnya benda ni?! Macam was-was je dia boleh naik, huish. Mak ni, suprise pun tak kena tempat. Plus, it is raining. Heavily. Cuak dak? -.-

That is HUGE! -.-

THe flight was delayed, due to rain. Duhhh -.- when we supposed to take off at 3 p.m, we managed to fly out at 3.30 p.m. Everybody was anxious and it was noisy inside the cabin. Dengan baby(s) menangis, dengan cabin crew bagi arahan itu ini, oh demm it's frikking headache!

Btw, my mom said she preferred the senior stewardess, rather than the junior ones. She said she liked how they were fast, like fast, in everything. Serving, giving instruction. And they are friendly. Well, I have to admit that. Comparing to Air Asia's stewardess, the MAS Airbus stewardess are more friendlier and quick. They serve food and drinks simultaneously. Suka tengok. Tapi, memang stewardess tu tua lah, bukan muda tiptop macam Air Asia and MAS punya yang kita selalu tengok.

Btw, the food on board, honestly, tak sedap. Entah lah. Rasa tawar, AHAH demand gila, tapi memang tak sedap, sabor je lah, yang best dapat Cadbury Gold to go with it. Okey lah. Boleh alas perut. (:

Sampai sana dah pukul 5 petang, so terus shoot ke hotel. Hotel yang company dah booked lah, Riverside Magestic. Awesome weyyy wa cakap, dapat bilik menghadap Sungai Sarawak. Awesome gilaaaaaa

Well, after Isya' that night, we went for a longgggg walk by the Waterfront. I never sweat like I sweat that night. We thought of having a nice dinner outside, but my mom said she was not sure about the food there, because everytime she came to Kuching, her officemates will take her out to eat somewhere, just this time, she was with me, hence the room service soon after we return to the hotel. We ate dinner, and I slept like a baby, except, I was in Artic. Demm I hate hotel's aircond! -.-

The next day, we woke up early, for Subuh, then I slept back. Eventhough I tried to stay awake, to wait for the sunrise, but the bed looks too inviting. Slept for another good two hours to wake up 7 a.m, and managed to catch the sunrise. No, no pictures. Who can think straight with the room that cold? Duhh.

We had our breakfast at the hotel's cafe. Love the food, though it was quite awkward when you get up like 10 times to take food at the buffet table. HAHAHA I ate everything, except the salad, yuuck. Heaven! Food, nomnomnom should be served this awesome everyday.

Then, at 9 a.m, we went to my mom's meeting @ the Telekom office, I spent the next 3 hours on tumblr, reblogging every single dem thing. And managed to watch Adamaya, the second last episode. Awww I miss that drama, eventhough the guy who played Dani, had passed away, Al-Fatihah.

I watched "Bini-Biniku Gengster" while waiting for my mom. Tak sempat habis, my mom dah ajak gi shopping. What?! Her meeting only lasted for one hour. Best kan? Travel jauh-jauh untuk one hour meeting. Shesh.

Pergi beli kek lapis, yang dijamin halal, tak guna brand Golden Churn. I promised you that. Memang laku Dayang Salihah ni after the Golden Churn chaos. Haih. Then spent another hour picking out kain batik for the women folk back home. Which around here, it was a rage to wear jubah made out of kain batik, not the normal kain batik, this is the sutera tenun kain batik, lembut and gorgeous designs. Berebut lah makcik-makcik kat sini.

Then, at almost 3 p.m, we shoot straight to airport. I misread the ticket, I thought our plane was at 5.15 p.m, well it was at 5.45 p.m, loads of time to spare, we went to eat at McD, long lunch, rileks tak rushing, then we went to surau, rileks rileks, sampai nak terlelap jugak lah, then keluar-keluar surau @ 4.30 p.m, announcer kata our flight dah calling, cuak lah, jalan pergi gate yang maha jauh, tengok-tengok, kapal terbang pun tak sampai lagi. another half hour baru the plane landed from KL, tunggu dia unload bags apa smua, 5.20 cenggitu baru boleh naik. I got the window seat this time, sukaaa, walaupun cuak masa dia nak berlepas, tapi sukaaa dapat rasa dia tekan minyak tu, memang indescribable feelings. Our plane is the normal MAS plane, but with exceptional, it has entertainment systems in it, which is quite awesome, mana pernah naik flight commercial, economy class yang ada tv bagai, unless kau pergi overseas, of course.

I slept right after the take off, because of the pills I took beforehand, and got my ear clogged up. Homai homai. Then we had our meals, which was briyani ayam and sweet sour fish. Much better, than before. Nomnomnom,

Then sembang-sembang dengan mak, teriba pilot rasa nak buat lap pulak, dia kona sikit punya tajam, nak tercabut rasa jantung, rupanya dia nak kona bagi tally dengan runway, dah nak sampai, nampak lah bandar, tak tahu bandar apa, tapi lawa sangat, macam sungai, tapi warna oren, lawa, tapi xsempat amek gambar, sebab stewardess tu dok mmbebel apa ntah.

Landed at 7.30 p.m. sampai dekat gate ten minutes after that, rushing rushing pergi amek beg, rushing rushing pergi book taxi, rushing rushing pergi beli chocolates (wajib!), then at last, we were on our way home.

It's tiring, but hey, it's an experience. (:

Btw, how's your result guys? Okey? Alhamdulillah, mine was a pass, tho I was a bit frustrated about my CGPA which is less 0.02 away from AD. Other than that, alhamdulillah (:

TQ for reading peeps.

Migraine?

Salam.

Ingat nak kongsi sikit pengetahuan pasal #migrain ni, sometimes orang tak sedar yang sebenarnya dia ada #migrain. Ingatkn sakit kepala biasa.
Source
What is migraine?
A migraine is a severe, painful headache can last for hours or even days.
Migraine is a result from a combination of blood vessel enlargement and the release of chemicals from nerve fibers that coil around these blood vessels. During the headache, an artery enlarges that is located on the outside of the skull just under the skin of the temple (temporal artery). This causes a release of chemicals that cause inflammation, pain, and further enlargement of the artery.
A migraine headache causes the sympathetic nervous system to respond with feelings of nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. This response also delays the emptying of the stomach into the small intestine (affecting food absorption), decreases blood circulation (leading to cold hands and feet), and increases sensitivity to light and sound.
What causes migraine?
 Potential migraine triggers include:
  • Allergies and allergic reactions
  • Bright lights, loud noises, and certain odors or perfumes
  • Physical or emotional stress
  • Changes in sleep patterns or irregular sleep
  • Smoking or exposure to smoke
  • Skipping meals or fasting
  • Alcohol
  • Menstrual cycle fluctuations, birth control pills, hormone fluctuations during menopause onset
  • Tension headaches
  • Foods containing tyramine (red wine, aged cheese, smoked fish, chicken livers, figs, and some beans), monosodium glutamate (MSG), or nitrates (like bacon, hot dogs, and salami)
  • Other foods such as chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, avocado, banana, citrus, onions, dairy products, and fermented or pickled foods.
Triggers do not always cause migraines, and avoiding
triggers does not always prevent migraines

What is the symptoms of Migraine?

  • Moderate to severe pain, usually confined to one side of the head, but switching in successive migraines
  • Pulsing and throbbing head pain
  • Increasing pain during physical activity
  • Inability to perform regular activities due to pain
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Increased sensitivity to light and sound
How migraine is diagnosed?
The International Headache Society recommends the "5, 4, 3, 2, 1 criteria" to diagnose migraines without aura. This stands for:
  • 5 or more attacks
  • 4 hours to 3 days in duration
  • At least 2 of unilateral location, pulsating quality, moderate to severe pain, aggravation by or avoidance of routine physical activity
  • At least 1 additional symptom such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light, sensitivity to sound.
But, I don't take any specific meds untuk my migrain. I taknak. Sebab takut terlalu begantung kepada meds pulak nnt. Plus, lately, I dah jarang amek Actifast pun, just minum banyak air (sumber oksigen paling best!) dan relax, kosongkan otak, dan tidur! Penting! Tidur! And try to increase your oxygen intake! Important!

Well, at least for me (:

Jujurnya, bila migraine ni datang, saya jadi macam malas, because I just want to sleep, sleep and sleep. Sampai the headache hilang. Macam terjadi waktu paper final Measurement, the first paper of the finals. Buat paper 1 1/2 jam je, the next 1 1/2 hours tidur. Biar lah, dah tak kesah dah. Sebab otak tak boleh nak jalan. Nasib baik lepas :')

Ok that's all, guys.

TQ for reading.

Marriage,

Salam.

Lately, mood berterabur sikit.

Reason? Baru rasa bahagia sikit, ada je lah yang menghalang. Mungkin ini salah satu tanda we're not meant to be together. Walaupun dalam hati ada taman, kalau dah bukan jodoh, bukan lah jawabnya, no matter what you did.

I am seriously contemplating marriage lately.

HAHA.

No, I am serious. Marriage seems like a reasonable thing right now.

Why? Let just say, dah jemu dan menyampah dengan konsep 'couple'. Sekarang ni, takda lelaki yang respectable untuk dijadikan boyfriend. Even muka baik gila, pakai kopiah pun otak sikit punya kuning. Ajak nak main je memanjang. Macam ni ke boyfriend?

Apa lagi suami.

Susah nak carik a good husband-to-be sekarang. Susah nak carik lelaki yang 'teruna' sekarang, as in tak pernah buat seks, kau nak melancap ikut suka hati kau lah. Tapi, yang tak pernah main? Susah do. Susah. Entah lah, I've been around lately, in the internet, facebook, tagged (HIKHIK) and what I'd found is very dissapointing. Sedih woh tengok lelaki Melayu hancur.

Perempuan Melayu? Lagi hancur. -.-

Dah bosan, pass kat member pulak. Perempuan pun bodoh kan? Kalau dah sayang, semua sanggup ( ditujukan kepada diri sendiri ). Sayang punya pasal.
Damn guys. Aku masih dara lah. Maksud aku, being passed around like an object/toys, I've been there, done that. Masih dalam kitaran tersebut. Masih cuba melepaskan diri. TQ. #jgnnkBLUEsgt
Haih.

Jujurnya, aku dah taknak buat benda bukan-bukan.

Dosa seorang perempuan, ditanggung oleh bapanya selagi belum berkahwin. Jika bapanya mati, dosanya ditanggung oleh saudara lelakinya. Selepas kahwin, dosanya ditanggung oleh suaminya. Selepas suaminya mati, dosanya ditanggung oleh anak lelakinya.
Cukup kot aku meletakkan terlalu banyak dosa ke atas ayah aku. I've done enough. I wish I can say sorry, but sorry would not be enough. I'm no good, anymore.

Sebab tu, aku betul-betul tekad nak kahwin. As soon as possible. Bukan sebab dah gatal gila nak buat seks, tak sabar-sabar, sebab aku dah taknak ayah aku terbeban dengan dosa aku. He have three daughters. If one of us get married as soon as possible, he'd be only burden by two, not three.

Ayah selalu cakap, pakai lah elok-elok, labuhkan lah tudung tu, jangan pakai seluar tu ketat sangat. And he'll say to end his nagging, kesian lah kat ayah kena tanggung dosa tu. Tapi, aku takpernah dengar cakap dia.

)': Sebab tu, aku lebih better kahwin, dan ringankan beban ayah aku.

I want to do this, without guilt

Thanks for reading.

USS : Part 2

Salam.

So here I am, typing an entry about my family trip to Universal Studio Singapore on the 17th of September 2011. Honestly, I have so many things to tell, but I can't put it in words. Is it fun? YES! Is it worth the money? YES!

But, honestly, it all depends on the person itself. I can be a bit biased. Hehe, since I really enjoyed my time there. But, for some people maybe they won't like it, since they might compare it to the Universal Studio USA. But, mind you, I typing this entry just to share what I've experienced, not to brag.

Ok, let's start the journey.

Firstly, I want to tell you guys, my trip to JB-Singapore-JB is a BUDGET TRIP. We don't stay at fancy hotel, we don't pay extra money for luxuries, we just pay for the basics. So, it is suitable for students or large family or middle class family who wants to go to USS.

16th Spetember 2011
We drove ourself to JB, went straight to Tune Hotel, Danga Bay. It is a budget hotel. Simple and cozy. It is not fancy, no 'glamour', no valet, no restaurant, no doorman. Simple. I like the hotel very very much. Although it only offers the basics, but it is worth it. You got bed, you got hot shower, you got fan. For the extra necessities, you do need to pay but it is your own choice. If you want to watch TV with Astro, if you want to sleep with aircond, if you need to use hair dryer, then you have to pay for it. And of course the towels. Yes, you have to pay for it too. BUT! It is included in the room fee, you just need to pay the 'rental fee' of the towels upon checking in. When you check out, they will return back your 'rental fee' which also include the 'rental fee' of the room keycard.

Roughly one room cost us RM100/night. This include the extra fee of TV, aircond and hairdryer.

We arrived around 4 p.m. Rested for a while, and went to eat early dinner @ Singgah Selalu which is nearby. After eating we went to the town, just to exchange the currency. I planned to used my own money there, so I changed RM300, which got me about $120.
RM1 = $0.40
RM100 = $40

17th September 2011

Tune Hotel offers shuttle buses to USS, which we took. So, we need to get ready by 6.45 a.m to board the 7 a.m bus. Which is very punctual, so beware, DON'T BE LATE!

The journey took us 1 hour 30 minutes, it is that long. Cuz we arrived exactly 8.30 a.m. in front of the Sentosa Resort. Damn, they're good. Haha the 1 hour 30 minutes also include two stops at Malaysian Imigresen and Singapore Custom. By the way, the bus used the Second Link to Singapore instead of using Tambak Johor. There's no traffic, there's not even a line at the custom.
Okey okey, about the money involved. Roughly, my mom summarized that it is roughly RM200 per person which includes the bus and the ticket to the USS. I don't know the ticket price in dollar, though. Since my mom bought the tickets along with the bus boarding pass. So it is roughly RM200.
Since we arrived too early actually, we get to roam around the outside of the USS, there's not much, but there's the Waterfront, which I saw a couple making out in broad daylight. -___-"

Then at 9.30 a.m., the gates are open, but we still can't get through the ticket person HAHA. So we were waiting in lines, I am the second in line, so excited! Then, Po came out to say hello. You can't imagine how hectic the crowd went. Semua menjerit kot tengok Po. Bising! Btw, Po is so huge, and gebu, and I am scared by him. He was so hugeeee!

Takut ok, tengok dia, HUGE!
Then, at 10 a.m. sharp, the ticket is being scanned. And my family went straight to Ancient Egypt section. Why? Sebab, the ride here is one of the main attraction. Kalau pergi lambat kena beratur panjang. So we were the second to ride the thing. All four of us in one car, no one else. HAHA. It was awesomeee! Walaupun I just closed my eyes and screamed the whole 3 minutes, but it was the longest 3 minutes of our life. Even my dad says the mummy ride was the most crazy ride of all.

No, no, no pictures. Haha we aren't that crazy about pictures. My dad only took pictures that symbolized the place. Well, except Ancient Egypt. He forgot to take out the camera. -__-"

We won't stop talking about the ride. Gila betul, macam nak tercabut anak tekak menjerit. Mula-mula slow je, then dia reverse, then dia menjunam, then dia mendaki, then dia brek mengejut, then dia pusing, twirling like hell, then brek  mengejut lagi, then menjunam lagi, DAMN! All of that in 3 minutes. Awesomeee!

Btw, this is my first roller coaster ride, ever.

We walked to the next section which is the Jurassic Park. But, we didn't go in, because we don't actually interested in dinosaurs and whatsoever. Tho, the ride is very tempting, but all of us are too scared when we saw their feet dangling from below. Okey, mood killer. Just took pictures in front of the main entrance and below the pair of dinos protecting their eggs. Across the Jurassic Park, is the Discovery Food Court which offers Singapore's delights.

We walked by The Lost World section, which is just this small space, with only one attraction which is the 'Waterworld' show. But it is stil early, and the show only started @ 12.30 p.m. so we decided to come back later for the show.
Then we moved to next main attraction, @Far Far Away which is Shrek in 4D. Again, it was AWESOME! Like cool gilaaa okey? Air liur, hingus air terjun semua tersembur kat muka kau, and I was like 'Euwwww' sekuat hati, HAHA. Then dapat rasa macam spiders jalan dekat kaki, babi betul, menjerit-jerit la macam orang gilaa. But the 3D effect is one of the best I've ever seen. Betul-betul depan mata aku lembing dia lah, fairies dia lah, pergh terbaekkkkk!

When we emerged from the 4D show, it was 10.30 a.m. HAHA. Baru setengah jam dah 2 tempat pergi. Well, my dad was hungry, and I was hungry as well. We like standing in front of Goldilocks for 30 minutes waiting for it to be open. Malas nak jalan-jalan dengan perut lapar. We were their first customer. Well, Goldilocks is like another version of KFC, but much better. Sedap doh ayam diaa. Menjilat siku. Tak ambil gambar jugak sebab makan lagi penting HAHA. The whole meal costs us $50-$60. Which to my parents, it was pretty cheap, to think we are in Singapore. Then, I treat  my sister and myself Ben & Jerry's ice cream, which is $5.20 for one scoop. Delicious!

Then we walked to the next section, the Madagascar. We can hear the 'I like to move it, move it, I like to shake it, shake it' apa ntah lagu tu, and my mom and I was like dancing to eat while eating the ice cream. Hahah, we still too full with food to walk fast, so we walk like slowly, then my dad saw the 'Water Crate' ride, which has 35 minutes of waiting time. So my sister and me quickly finished up our ice cream and get in line. Boy, it was so long. There are like 4 huts, and 3 of it is full with people waiting in line. We just wait and wait for 35 minutes until we finally get to ride the thing. It was this slowwwww ride, the Madagascar story was told through out the whole 10 minutes ride. My sister was falling asleep because it was so hot and we are full with food. Nice combination for a short nap. Hehe. This ride is suitable for kids, who extremely love Madagascar. I just boogie around whenever their song came up. HAHA.

Again, no pictures. Sebab it was so hot, and we are rushing to go back to the Lost World for the Waterworld show.

When we arrived at Lost World, there's this sea of humans rushing to the water show. And my dad was like, 'Jom cepat, cepat!' We were fast-walking and out of breath by the time we reached the auditorium. And when we arrived, I was like 'OMG! Humans are everywhereeeee! Full house!' Damn.

One of the best live action show I've ever seen. They did the stunt very well, they synchronized their acting with the sound effect, and they're miming their script, and it was all in perfect order. Amazing! Love, love the show! I love to see how they play around with jet skis, and motorboat inside a very small space.Very professional. Then, when the tank will burst into flames, and gunshots were fired, it was so loud, and since we were sitting quite near to the water so we can feel the heat of the flame. Awesomeee! And my favorite part would be when a small plane crashes into the set. Like real small airplane. Awesome! Haha congrats to the casts for putting up a very great show. Even my dad enjoys it. And he almost get drenched when the Mariner 'accidentally' splashed the water at the audience by using his jet ski.

Double thumbs up!

By the time we walked out of the show, it was nearly 1.30 p.m. My dad told us to head to the prayer room, which is located nearby the entrance, it is inside a building next to customer service. The staff will show you where it is when you get there. (:

It was an unmarked room, but very comfortable. You just need to take your wudhu' at the nearest restroom. For me, it is quite a tedious thing to do, taking your ablution at a public restroom. But, we have to, since this is not Malaysia, not a Muslim country. After our prayer, my dad said to rest for awhile, while me and my mom went into the Universal Studio Store for a quick shopping. Hehe. So I emerged from the store with a t-shirt, a laptop sleeve and a mug, and it costs me around $55. Awesomee.

Then, I said I want to ride the 'Enchanted Airways'. So, we walked back to Far Far Away, and stand in line. It was a junior roller coaster. So, I thought it won't be as scary as Battlestar Galactica ride. Well, let just say I was wrong.
Enchanted Airways
I sat with my dad, while my mom and my sis sat behind us. It was a heart-stopping ride, since it twirls at least 4 times in the short ride. First, it climbed up to gain momentum, and then dropped, twirled and twirled. Damn! My dad was clutching our camera as he was scared it would fall over. I was clutching my bag and shopping bags. It is so funny! When we get off, my dad said, NO MORE RIDES! Serik. So that was our last ride. (:

When we passed through Hollywood section, we saw these boys cranking up the volumes and singing. They are so good! And very cute. :D Comel je lah dengan baju stripe, dengan shade, lepas to grooving to oldies songs. What a showwww! Love, love, love!
Daddy's O @ Hollywood
Then, we proceed to the New York section, to see the 'Light, Camera, Action!' show. My mom said, in the US, this show is all about behind the scene of special effects and camera tricks. Well, in Singapore, you get a hurricane. Yep, they simulated a hurricane for us. Yep. Yep. Again, we were in the front row, not by choice btw, -___-" so we get to see how the studio changed from a calm and quiet boat dock into a hazardous place on earth. There were fires, and as the front line, yes I almost burn my face, the fire was so close! The finale would be when a ship suddenly burst into the dock, stopped few inches in front of us. And I was the only who screamed. Yep, me. But, it was great show nevertheless, thumbs up!

Then, we walked back to Hollywood, to catch the Monster Rock Show. It was a concert, actually. Little did we know. Kesian ayah, dah la tak pernah lah nak tengok benda-benda cenggitu. Tapi, nak buat macam mana kan, rugi lah tak masuk, dah bayar (:

While waiting, we managed to watch the Mel's Dinettes performed. They're so cute, with the outfit and all. Adorable! They opened their show by singing Christina Aguilera's Candyman. Boy, I was like embarrassed to know that my dad was listening to this song >.<

Mel's Dinette @ Hollywood
Well, no pictures of the Monster Show, it is prohibited to take any pictures. But, it was awesome! We sat two rows from the stage and we get to see all of the monster faces. Funny, and cute. (: There's like fireworks throughout the show, and blinded my eyes for a while, so bright and so loud, and just imagined, fireworks indoor. What a chaos! But, a great show, very energetic, and their voices are very nice, I like it hehe.

By the time we finished, it was almost 5 p.m. Two hours till closing. We ate a quick snack @ Mel's Diner. And got a good look at the Battlestar Galactica ride. Eh babi, gila menakutkan okey?! Ayah aku tengok sampai ternganga. Gila betul! There's different track for Human and Alien, and the most scaries one would be the Alien track, sebab kau duduk kaki terjuntai, and kau pusing 180 degree kat puncak, so nak mati? Haha. Aku tak main benda tu, tak cukup berani. Lagipun, the management dah bagi warning dah, untuk main benda tu kau kena betul-betul yakin kau boleh handle ride tu, sebab dia memang scary, almost 14-storey high. Gila!

Red = Human, Alien = Blue
Out of mind ride -___-"
Btw, the snacks cost almost $30, whicih consists of, two large fries, chicken strips, fries with cheese, milo ais and orange juice and mineral water.

After snacking, my parents nak shopping lagi sikit untuk jiran-jiran, so I sat outside on the boulevard, and took random pictures of the surrounding. By now, I was so freaking tired already. Dah memang all out habis. So my sister and I waited for almost half hour for them to finish shopping. And when they came out, my dad nak makan cotton candy. Comel je lah kan? And it cost $6. Sangat best, mahal. Haha. Tapi cotton candy dia putih! Tak macam kat Malaysia. Suka tengok. Fluffy and HUGE

Lepas tu, duduk menongkat dagu sampai almost 6.15 p.m. Saja je duduk-duduk membuang masa. Heheh, and watched Po for the hundred times that day, so does Frankestein and Marilyn Monroe. Then kitorang, finally keluar dari USS at almost 6.30 p.m.

Terus menuju je Hershey store. Bukan untuk beli cokelat. Which very weird, masuk kedai coklat tapi beli merchandises bukan coklat. Lagipun, suka tengok barang-barang dia sebab semua takda kat Malaysia. Even the chocolates, banyak yang takda kat Malaysia. Suka suka, ayah nampak banyak mini cars, habis semua dia angkut.

Jujurnya, banyak habis duit dekat merchandises daripada makanan. Dekat Hershey store sahaja habes dalam $53. Belum lagi yang beli souvenirs dekat Universal Store tu. Hadeh.

Well, the bus arrived at 7.30 p.m. sharp, and sampai hotel at 9 p.m. Penat gilaaaa, tidur dalam bas hanya sampai dekat Singapore custom, then terus tak boleh tidur, sebab join ayah sembang dengan bus-mate yang lain. Haha. Sampai hotel, mandi-mandi, keluar pergi dinner, balik terus tidur since dah almost 11 p.m.

What a day.
Honestly, I don't get it when I read some reviews when they said they don't have enough time to thoroughly explored USS. Because, my family managed to go every section, ride few rides (The Mummy, Water Crate, Enchanted Airways) , managed to see all of the stage show (Light, Camera, Action! Waterworld, Monster Rock), even get to watch two street performance (Daddy's O, Mel's Dinette), saw the characters walking around USS like every hour, eat at two most delicious place (Goldilocks, Mel's Diner), took as many pictures as we can, all form the second USS was opened 10 a.m, right till 6.30 p.m, just before the closing. And honestly we had time. We just chose not to ride anything in Jurassic Park and Battlestar Galactica due to our soft heart (penakut actually).
My opinion?
DON'T GO BY TOUR! I mean, where the tour guide, guides you around the USS. Well, honestly you won't get lost inside there. It is not that huge. Honestly. Like us, by 4 p.m, we had only Monster Rock Show left on our list. Because we chose what we want to see, and not following other people lists. It is much better, trust me. Because, when you are with the tour guide, you will have to follow to the T where ever he takes you, even if it means you have to stand in line for 1 hour. Rugi kan? Better jalan sendiri, kita boleh pilih nak main yang mana, and dapat avoid line yang panjang. Like us, we only have to stand in line for the Water Crate ride, the others we just have to wait less than 5 minutes. Awesome? Yep, it is!
You just need to look for a transport to and from the USS. Whether you want to stay in JB or duduk dekat Singapore, that's your choice. But, don't follow any tour guide. It's not even fun. Plus you look like an idiot. When you're bored, you can't break away from your group, or you'll get 'lost'. So go there with an adventurous side. It is so much fun when you know you don't have to worry about time.

Till later, peeps.
